BC Tuition Assistance Grant

The Benedict College Tuition Assistance Grant (BC TAG) is a grant funded by the College to assist families in financing the cost of attending College, after they have exhausted all other forms of financial aid and personal contributions.

The Purpose:

To make tuition more affordable for students and parents who are interested in attending Benedict College.

The awards are available to students who have applied for and accepted all of the financial aid approved for them or their parents and still are unable to afford the educational cost of attending Benedict College. BC TAG is only available for the regular academic year for the fall and spring semesters. Freshman and sophomore students are eligible for up to $4,000 and juniors and seniors are eligible for up to $3,500 for both the fall and spring semesters. The award is applied to cover unmet costs less $500. Each family is expected to pay a minimum of $500 per semester towards any unmet costs. Payment plans are available to finance any unmet costs not covered by BC TAG if needed.

The award is available for each regular academic year (fall and spring semesters) as long as the student makes satisfactory academic progress, as defined in the Benedict College Catalogue and meets the conditions stated above.
