 Willie Wilson, III is a 1977 graduate with a BS in Business Administration and Economics. He is the Pastor of Oakey Spring Missionary Baptist Church of Springfield, SC. He has faithfully served as Pastor for the last 14 years. He has been employed for thirty-three years with CSX Transportation. He is the past Moderator of the Beaver Creek Education and Missionary Association, serving Orangeburg County and vicinity. He has participated in training seminars and conferences relating to the field of Religious Study and has also received numerous awards in this area.
Civic & Community Activities: He has held membership in the following organizations: Capital City Lodge #47 Prince Hall Affiliation, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). He is a life member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.
Awards and Honors: He is the 1998 Benedict College Mamie L. Duckett recipient.
Alumni Association Involvement: He is currently a member of Benedict College Alumni Columbia Club #2 and Chaplain for the Benedict College National Alumni Association.
