Officers 2004-06

Northern Region Vice President

George Worsley is a 1975 graduate with a BSW Degree in Social Work. He received his Master of Arts degree from New Jersey City University in 1996. He is currently employed with the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center/Children’s Hospital of New Jersey. He is a Certified Social Worker. He is experienced with populations that include at-risk youth, chemical dependent adults, abused and neglected children, indigent poor, homeless families, medically deprived children and adolescents. 

Civic & Community Activities: Current member of the SSST at Quitman Street Community School, Coordinator youth recreation programs for at-risk youth grades 1-12, President and Co-Founder of the St. Rocco Small Fry & Biddy Basketball Programs, Coordinated In -Service Training for Parents, Faculty and Staff at Quitman Street Community School in conjunction with the Comer School Model, established the First West African Support Group for West African Refugees in the Newark Public School System, established the first School Based Program for Psychiatric Evaluations, Referrals.

Alumni Association Involvement: Past Eastern Regional Vice President Benedict College Alumni Association, Past Club President, North Jersey Chapter.
