Robert Gillespie is a 1965 graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in biology. He was a student instructor in Gymnastics at Benedict in 1964-65. He taught courses in General Science, Biology and anatomy for 36years in Philadelphia public schools. He was a junior and senior high school coach in gymnastics as well. He retired in 2001 but continues to serve as an official, a position he has held since 1967. He is a member of the Philadelphia Benedict College Alumni Club. Additionally, he served as the club's treasurer for eight years.
