President 2006-2008Ms. Sheryl Good ‘89
Civic & Community Activities: She is a member of the NAACP. She has held many leadership positions in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc at the collegiate level and the alumnae level; former treasurer of the Oak Ridge Chapter of Blacks in Government, Treasurer of Mount Olive Baptist Church, Esther Circle Missionary Leader. Awards and Honors: She is the recipient of the Association of International Architects Scholarship, the Oak Ridge Associated Universities Nuclear Energy Training Fellowship, the Oak Ridge Associated Universities Graduate Research Participation Program Fellowship and the Environmental Protection Agency Fellowship. She has received numerous professional and civic awards including Soror of the Year from the Oak Ridge Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Alumni and Student Involvement: She is currently the President of the Atlanta-Benedict College Alumni Club, and the Corresponding Secretary of the Benedict College National Alumni Association. While at Benedict College, she was the First Vice President of the Student Government Association, Student Government Association Board of Trustees Representative and a member of the Scholarships Committee. |

Sheryl Good of Atlanta, GA graduated in the class 1989 with a Bachelors degree in Physic. She received her MS in Physic from Clark Atlanta University in 1992 and a Master’s Degree in Urban Policy Studies from Georgia State University in 2004. She is currently employed as an Environmental Scientist in the Environmental Justice/Community Liaison Staff Office with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in Atlanta, GA. She has previously worked as the Program Manager, Department of Energy (Oak Ridge Operations Office 1994-98) and as the Project Manager, Lockheed Martin Energy Systems (Oak Ridge Tennessee 1992-94).
