Linda Littlejohn Felton a native of Gaffney, South Carolina looks forward to serving the Benedict National Alumni Association as Corresponding Secretary and solicits your support.

An alumnus of Benedict, Mrs. Felton received her BA Degree in Elementary Education in 1967 and her Masters in Library Service from Atlanta University, 1969. She has done further study at Trinity College, Bowie State University and University of Maryland. Mrs. Felton and her husband, Ronald resides in Lanham, Maryland.

Civic & Community Activities: With a belief that young people are our greatest asset, Linda is a loyal and steady supporter of her alma mater. Mrs. Felton has a mother's faith which she transfers not only to her three children but also to the students that she has served as Media Specialist in the District of Columbia and currently the Prince George's County Public School Systems.

Alumni Association Involvement: Mrs. Felton is serving a second term as president of the Washington Club #46 where she previously held the position of corresponding secretary for more than 25 years. She was recently the chair for the 2005 BCNAA Spring Planning Conference.

In 2005, she was named "Mother of the Year" at Shiloh Baptist Church of Washington because of her service to youth. She is also the recipient of various honors including 1 Runner-Up to Ms. BCNAA Alumni, Outstanding Teacher at Merritt School and Outstanding Alumnus of Benedict College from the Washington Chapter of United Negro College Fund.
