Ms. Lula Williams '65 is the daughter of the late Lester & Willie Mae Yeargin of Greer, SC.  She has 1 sister and 2 brothers and no children.  She received a BS in 1965.  She has a Masters Degree in Education from the University of LaVerne, LaVerne, CA and Masters + 30 hours in a Specialist Degree. 

She was a member of the Greenville Urban League and the SC Department of Elementary Teachers where she served as the President.  She is currently:  Notary Public for the State of SC; Member of the Order of the Eastern Star; Administrative Degree of the Order of the Eastern Star; Member of the Heroines of Jericho; Life member of the NAACP; School District of Greenville County Retired Teachers (31 years); Life member of SC Education Association Retired; Life member of National Education Association  Retired;  Member of Rock of Ages Baptist Church, Greenville, SC; President of the Pastor's Aid Ministry; Member of the Voices of Inspiration Choir; Presently working part-time as Head Tutorial Teacher with Greenville City, Parks, and Recreation at West Greenville Center.
