6:00 p.m. Official Press Conference- An opportunity for the press and media to speak with the Architects, Contractors, Athletic Director, President Swinton and the philanthropist and former NFL professional, Mr. Charlie W. Johnson. Join the members of the Benedict College Board of Trustees, distinguished guests and local and state officials for an opportunity to tour the stadium and lean why the Charlie W. Johnson Football Stadium will be considered a one of kind, state-of-the-art facility and a top athletic arena in the SIAC conference.

7:00 p.m.  Jazz in the Stadium -A Preview Party- featuring jazz great Skipp Pearson and the fine cuisine of BONEFISH GRILL.  The fundraising event will treat guest to an evening of jazz, fine food and stadium tours in celebration of the Dedication and Grand Opening of the Charlie W. Johnson Football Stadium in the LeRoy T. Walker Wellness Complex located at Two Notch Road and Read Street.  Tickets are only $25 each and are tax-deductible. 9:00 a.m.                 "Purple Reign" Tailgate Competition-Charlie W. Johnson Football Stadium-  A fun rivalry between fans, will provide an opportunity for tailgaters to showcase their Tiger Pride in a tasteful competition, as contestants compete to win the Best Food and Most Spirited titles. Local celebrities will judge the competition.

1:00 p.m.       Pep Rally at the "Dust Bowl" /HRC  Activity Field- a pride-boosting ritual led by student leaders and  their organizations will unite loyal Tiger fans at the old stomping ground which was affectionately known as the "Dust Bowl". It was once the institutional dusty football arena, and today is an on-campus practice field for a variety of sports.
 
2:00 p.m.  Processional to the Charlie W. Johnson Football Stadium- Drum lines, The BC Marching Band of Distinction and Floats will proceed down Oak & Read Streets. Join this stately tradition of celebration. Groups will line up at the Dust Bowl following the Pep Rally. The Grand Marshal will lead a diversified group such as dignitaries, Benedict and local high school drum lines, campus queens and organizations, community supporters, constituents and loyal Tiger fans to the new stadium.
  
3:30 p.m.  Dedication Service at the Charlie W. Johnson Football Stadium - a dignified ceremony will unite the Benedict College Family and the community in one of the last acts leading to the Tiger's season opener. The Dedication will include a performance by a Mass Choir led by Mr. Darryl Izzard, Director of the National-Award Winning Benedict Gospel Choir and the Benedict College Marching Band of Distinction and several local and state officials and dignitaries.
         
6:00 p.m.  Benedict vs. Lenoir-Rhyne College Football Game  Attention all Tiger fans and supportive community it's note too late to become apart of this history-making occasion. There are several opportunities for becoming a part of the action such as purchasing a life-time seat and/or a special season pass, advertising your business in the stadium or selling your products as a vendor.  Call 803.252.2196 for more information about purchasing a seat or 803.252.2196 for vender space or 803.704.4809 for a season and parking pass.
